Frequently Asked Questions

What is endocompatibility?

While 99.9% of our DNA is identical to every other person on the planet, there is 0.1% that is absolutely unique to you. This small percentage is responsible for our individual experience with cannabinoids and CBD.

Having your DNA analyzed by our endo·compatibility superchip can tell you:

  • Whether you can tolerate THC in any form, including full spectrum, isolate and broad-spectrum products.
  • The genetic expression, or effect, individual terpenes may have on your endocannabinoid system.
  • Your metabolic function level (ultra-fast, average or poor metabolizer) which can help determine how you take cannabis or CBD products, and the specific amount you should take.
  • Any drug-to-drug interactions you could experience.
Who will benefit from taking an endocompatibility test?

Anyone who wants to get smarter about their cannabis or CBD use, and wants a more precise way of choosing cannabis or CBD products.

Why should I take the Endo·dna endocompatibility test?

Endo·dna test helps you understand the impact of genetics on your endocannabinoid system and your individual response to cannabis or CBD products. This information can empower you when choosing cannabinoid product options.

This test is for anyone that is interested in understanding how cannabis and CBD could impact their own body.

How will knowing my unique endocompatibility help me?
Results can provide important insights into your optimal cannabis experience. Based on this information, you can be smarter about your cannabis and CBD use.

Once you receive your Endo·Decoded report, your personalized Wellness Plan will provide suggestions to you, based on your genotype expression. Your Wellness Plan will include specific cannabinoid and terpene formulation suggestions that could help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

However, the presence of certain genotypes does not mean that any given outcome is certain. While your analysis might show that you have an increased or decreased potential for a certain trait, it does not mean that you will definitely express that trait. Many factors play a role in the expression of these traits.

How long does it take to get my results back?

If you purchased the Endo·dna at-home endocannabinoid DNA collection kit: Our certified and accredited lab will return your in-depth results in Approximately 4 weeks. However, some processing times may vary and it may take up to 8 weeks to receive your results.

If you purchased the Endo·dna Upload option: If you have your raw DNA results from another DNA analysis company like 23andMe or AncestryDNA, you will be directed to upload this report on mydna.live. Once uploaded, you will recieve an email within about 1 minute directing you to log into your secure account at mydna.live for your endo·compatibility report.

Does this test diagnose any health issues?

The Endo·dna test and Endo·Decoded does not diagnose any disease or identify any health condition. The test and the report are not intended to replace the care of a qualified healthcare practitioner.

We always advise our customers to go over their Endo·Decoded report with their healthcare professional.

How does Endo·dna uncover my unique endo·compatibility?

The Endo·dna test analyzes your specific DNA markers to provide you a personalized Endo·Decoded report that can help guide your decisions for choosing the right cannabis and CBD product for you.

Endocanna Health designed and built a customized genomics super-chip from the ground up. Our proprietary, patent-pending super-chip, and analysis algorithm interprets your genotype by assessing DNA SNPs (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms, pronounced “SNIPS”), which are either directly or indirectly associated with the endocannabinoid system.

The algorithm then analyzes the specific SNPs to detect biological similarities or differences, which are then correlated to the most up-to-date scientific research and clinically relevant studies in cannabinoids, terpenes and genetics to alert you to specific expressions in your gene that can help guide your decision making.

Do I need to submit my DNA if I’ve already received DNA results from another company like Ancestry DNA or 23andMe?

No, you don’t need to submit another sample of your DNA to find out your unique endo·compatibility. Simply upload the raw data report you received from Ancestry DNA, 23andMe or another DNA test, and Endocanna Health’s customized genomics super-chip will analyze your data to produce your unique Endo·Decoded endo·compatibility report.
